Colony Theater

Converted three-screen movie theater showing adult videos, with one of the screens set aside as "Couples Only", and a small couples-only cocktail lounge with a dance floor complete with two pairs of leather restraints.

Best time to visit is Friday/Saturday nights. Couples allowed in starting at 7 p.m. Theater runs 9:30 p.m. until 2 a.m., or later depending on the crowd. If you want to also visit the couples-only theater, you pay a (refundable) deposit for the key to the theater. Don't be surprised if the cashier asks you "Key or no key?" when you walk in the door!

2001 Pricing Update: The Colony now charges $25.00 per single man on Friday %26amp; Saturday, and $35.00 for couples. Couples get some money back when they leave. Other days, it is $10.00 for singles.

Directions:

Take the Poplar Street Bridge to Illinois, then follow the signs from 70 to Highway 64. Follow Highway 64 to Highway 111 North. Approximately 1.5 miles up Highway 111, turn left at the second stop sign, and then watch for Colony on the left (approximately .5 miles).
