Sid %26amp; Nancy, The Doors, La Bamba, Ike Turner, Buddy Holly and that horrible thing with the guy pretending to be Cobain. So what present day, say last ten years, artist do you see getting a big-release, nostalgic rock movie in another 20 years when the nostalgia for this time is in full force?

None. No band is really that legendary to receive a biopic these days. The only band that might would be Radiohead, but they're past the last ten years requirement.
There are some good bands out there, and then there are a decent amount of average bands, and there seem to be more and more bad ones, but none of them are truly popular enough, worthy enough, or influential enough to get a movie.
